EARRINGS

Unless your item is faulty, maracay jewellery cannot accept returns on earrings due to health and sanitary regulations. Please choose your earrings carefully.

If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please email info@maracayjewellery.com with your order number to assist you with the return process.

Please note, shipping fee (if applicable) is not refundable and return shipping is at the cost of the customer.

All returns must be sent back to maracay jewellery within 14 days of receiving your order.

Your item will be inspected upon arrival and we reserve the right to refuse your return if the item does not get to us within 14 days of the delivery date. The returned item must be received in original condition - unworn and with all of its original packaging. If your return does not meet the above criteria it will be sent back to you.

To qualify for a return, it is the customers responsibility that the item makes it back to maracay jewellery in a safe and timely manner. We are not responsible for any lost parcels or fees that you incurred.

EXCHANGES

Unless your item is faulty, maracay jewellery cannot accept exchanges on earrings due to health and sanitary regulations. Please choose your earrings carefully.

For any other jewellery items, we are happy to accept exchanges if the item is received in original conditions - unworn and with all original tags and packaging.

Please note, unless the item is faulty, you will be responsible for paying for all shipping costs ($18 total with registered standard Australia Post).

FAULTY ITEMS

All maracay jewellery items undergo a rigorous quality check. However, if you make a claim because your maracay jewellery arrived to you faulty, please email info@maracayjewellery.com with your order number explaining the faults within 14 days of delivery date. Photos must be provided. Your item will be first considered for repair, if it can’t be repair, your will get a replacement. If you opt for a refund, your purchase credit will automatically be refunded to your original method of payment, within a 5 – 10 business days. The refund can only be applied to the same payment method that was used to check out.

If your item arrives faulty, we will email you an Australia Post prepaid shipping label to return the item back to us.

Note: Natural oxidisation of gold plated and gold filled jewellery, colour changes due to skin PH levels and water/humidity damage are not considered faults and will not be refunded. Please follow our care instructions here.

To qualify for a full refund, your item will be inspected and we reserve the right to refuse your return if the item does not get to us within 14 days of delivery date. The returned item must be received in original condition - unworn and with all of its original packaging as if your return does not meet the above criteria it will be sent back to you.

4-8 MONTHS WARRANTY

All of our pieces come with warranty. Gold plated pieces come with 4 months warranty whilst gold filled jewellery and Sterling Silver items come with 8 months warranty. Depending on the problem, we will first try to repair your piece free of charge if quality issues occur during the warranty time. If the item cannot be repair, we will offer a replacement. This warranty does not cover damages caused by accident, abuse, or neglect such as tarnishing or breakage.

The Warranty does not cover shipping costs involved to or from you and us. Be aware you can return approved warranty claim items in person at our market stall in South Bank, Brisbane.

REPAIR TIME

We are a small business so please be aware that repairs can take up to 10 business days to be finalised and shipped back to you.

MARKET STALLS

For purchases from our market stalls, you must have evidence of purchase to qualify for a repair. This can be the physical paper recipt or a screenshot of your transaction found on your bank statements, displaying the transaction details (cost, date, time and name of business).

REPAIRS (Not covered by the warranty)

We can repair your maracay jewellery items depending on the nature of the damage. Repair fees start from $15 but can vary drastically depending on the piece and the damage. For a repair quote please email us with a clear picture of the damaged item.
